Kundalini Yoga is considered the most potent form of yoga. It is not for everyone, indeed. Practicing yoga since 2010, it was only later I deeply fell in love with the Kundalini practice and fully embraced it. One thing is for sure, my life has been forever changed by this practice. Kundalini Yoga can change your life if you practice consistently. This is a practice I recommend students pick up and gradually incorporate into their daily lives under the guidance of a teacher.

What is Kundalini Awakening?

Kundalini is the name of a sleeping dormant potential force in the human body situated at the root of your spinal column. We all have it, but most of us are not aware of this. Numerous types of yogic practices can awaken Kundalini intertwined together with asanas (physical yoga poses), pranayama (breathwork), singing mantras (evoking energetic vibration by sound), and meditation.

When the Kundalini life-force energy wakes up, it travels through your Sushumna nadi, the central nervous canal located in your midline along your spine, and up to the brain. As the Kundalini rises, it transfers through each chakra, interconnected with different silent areas of the brain.

Life-Force Energy Activation

With the awakening of Kundalini, there will be an activation of life-force energy that can be both overwhelming and powerful. A Kundalini awakening can be expressed as an explosion in the brain. When it explodes, you start blossoming as a human being and can live to your best potential. You start seeing things differently, your priorities change, and your relationships might change. Your intuition and senses get heightened, creativity flourishes, and you feel clearer and more vibrant than ever before.

Although people have a different journey with a Kundalini awakening, we all agree upon how life-changing Kundalini Yoga can be when practiced consistently. Find my Kundalini Yoga classes here.
